Dothan couple charged with fraud

On September 28th a local couple from Dothan, Alabama were charged with 46 counts of credit card fraud each.

Lt. Will Glover, has reported that the Dothan police have arrested 44-year-old Willie Jason Salter and 45-year-old Mary Clara Salter, both from South Oats street and charged each of them with 46 felony counts of fraudulent use of a credit card.

Lt. Glover says that the man who lost his wallet was shopping, and later found it but saw that his credit card was gone. “They’re making better precautionary systems, but the rest is still going to be laid on the individual. It’s still my obligation to make sure that I do everything in my power to make sure my purchases are secure.” Reported the Dothan police corporal, Jerry Moore. Later the suspects were caught and charged. Both individuals were booked and charged in the Houston County jail and held on a bail that totals $46,000
