The Ariton purple cats played against the G.W. Long rebels, on the first of September.
During the first quarter of the game Ariton held Long and the purple cats managed a touchdown drive.
By the second quarter of the game, Ariton and Long were tied at 7-7. The score remained consistent throughout most of the third quarter as well. That is, until Skipperville started new plays and more touch downs.
Long started getting ahead and raised the score to 43 while securing Ariton at 7 points.
"I'm proud of our players even though it was a tough game.” Said Georgia Galloway “All we can do is try harder and be better next time."
When the game ended many disappointed fans crowded the stands, with Long winning at 43-7 against the purple cats. Still everyone is proud of our Ariton players and can't wait to watch them play against G.W Long again next year.
