This year’s homecoming unveiled several new creative outlets such as minute-to-win-it and an Olympic themed homecoming procession.
Minute-to-win-it consisted of six separate events that the student body participated in.
These events included a game where one student would throw three tennis balls to another student who had to catch it with a bucket that was held on their head. In the second event, a student put Vaseline on their nose, picked up a set amount of cotton balls and dropped them into the bucket from the previous event. The third event consisted of a person using one hand to pull out every tissue in a full tissue box. In the next event, a student had to eat a fruit rollup without using their hands. The fifth event students made a mummy out of another student with toilet paper. The last event was a bottle flipping competition.
“It was a tough win, but I’m really excited that we won.” Kiana Sanders, a junior student, said after the class of 2018’s win.
The Juniors came in first place, Freshmen came in second, and the seniors came in third.
