On November 10, 2016, the first 50 FBLA members to pay $50 dollars would get to go on a field trip to the Backstage Tour of the Chick-fil-a Factory.
The chick-fil-a tour began in a theater room where they showed the members a short clip of the Chick-fil-a owners and Family. After the short clip the tour guides divided the fifty members into two groups.
Each tour guide took the groups into 4 different rooms. The first room the groups went into was a room showing how the very first Chick-fi-a was set-up, what they served, and what the prices used to be.
The second room the tour guide took members was the room that had the Chick-fil-a cow replicates and he told us some facts and history about the cows.
The third room he took us in was the Chick-fil-a founder’s office, Samuel Truett Cathy, there he told us some interesting stories about Cathy’s grandkids and Family members. He also told us some stories about how his office came to be and why it was called the treehouse.
The last place our tour guide took us to was the lobby where Samuel Truett Cathy had displayed all his cars, so tourists could see some of his car collections.
To end the tour one of the tour guides gave each visitor a Chick-fil-a draw-string bag with a Chick-fil-a free item card as a thank you gift for visiting.
After the Chick-fil-a backstage tour we went to the Dwarf house to eat. The dwarf house was the first chick-fil-a restaurant. After we ate we left Atlanta, and headed back to Ariton.
